מה נשאר ומה יצא

נשאר: פרקים 1–2 (דגימה ומערך מחקר, סטטיסטיקה תיאורית) ופרקים 6–13 (נורמלית, משפט הגבול המרכזי, רווחי סמך, בדיקת השערות בשני סוגיה, חי-בריבוע, רגרסיה ומתאם, ניתוח שונות) — כלומר בדיוק מה שמכוסה באפליקציה. בנוסף נספח B (ארבעה מבחני תרגול ושתי בחינות מסכמות, עם פתרונות) ונספח F (טבלת סימנים ונוסחאות).

יצא:

• פרקים 3, 4, 5 — הסתברות, משתנים מקריים בדידים ורציפים. אין להם נושא באפליקציה, והם 168 עמודים.
• החומר הפותח והסוגר של כל פרק — Key Terms, Chapter Review, Formula Review ו-References. הם חוזרים על מה שכבר נאמר בגוף הפרק.
• סעיפי המעבדה והניסוי (1.5, 1.6, 2.8, 6.3–6.4, 7.4–7.5, 8.4–8.6, 9.6, 10.5, 11.7–11.8, 12.7–12.9, 13.5) — פעילויות כיתה, לא חומר לימוד.
• נספחים C, D, E, G ומפתח העניינים — מאגרי נתונים, פרויקטים קבוצתיים, טפסי פתרון והוראות למחשבון TI.
• ב-core בלבד: גם התרגילים והפתרונות של כל פרק.

אזהרה אחת לגבי פרק 10. הספר מלמד שם את מבחן $t$ הלא-משוקלל (Aspin-Welch) כברירת מחדל, וכותב במפורש שאין לאחד את השונויות — בעוד שהבחינה דורשת את המבחן המשוקלל עם $df = n_1+n_2-2$. קחו משם תרחישים, לא נוסחאות.

הכותרת הרצה בכל עמוד עדיין מציגה את מספר העמוד בספר המודפס, שלא השתנה. הטבלה למטה מתרגמת בין שלושת המספרים.
